Dainty purple flowers on purple stems fruit beans that start green and fade to purple. Very pretty.
Kind of hard to tell with the fine iPhone camera quality; but a very pretty purple color. Oh, in the background; see the very small clearing in the sea of wilderness? Our fence line is three feet; yes 3 ft inside our property line. So, I have another vertical surface (east facing!) to grow beans on. Did I mention we like beans? Only problem is that dang wilderness.
Grow babies grow!
Ah, better light; purty purple ready to eat bean; but we need more than just one! There are a whole lot of babies on the vines right now.
