Postmortem: Corn

The corn experiment was .... an educational experiment.  Lessons learned:

• Plant more corn
• Divide the batch into 3 or so equal parts and plant each part at 2 week durations
• Make sure that the plants are grouped up in a windy area so that each one of the female tassels gets pollinated
• Clean the corn husks over the compost bin in case the husk is full of ants
• Watch the corn closely for worms
• If more than one ear per node, don't try to snap it off
