So, no it isn't a cosmos. Shucky darns.
It was a pain in the .... to get the root ball out. If roots carry nutrients into the soil I've got some happy soil going on there. Definately had lots of happy earthworms in the root ball.
What I thought was a bud? New leaves springing out.
I have so much to learn.
Oh, and I could not find any redeeming quality, unless you are a sheep.

I have found in my garden that Assasin bugs like ragweed - but they also like tomatillos! :-)
Oh dear, I hope my Assasin bug extended family don't desert me. Hmm, maybe plant more tomatillo? Yeah, that sounds good.
