Dry Fall Forecast
For Florida, unless we get lucky with a tropical storm, we can expect increasing drought conditions.
We've (our house) not had any significant rain in two weeks. I had to run the lawn irrigation mid-week and that is the first time it has been on since I spring seeded. All our rain storage is empty. We will be setting up our new 300 gallon tank this weekend. Hopefully it will rain soon and fill everything up. Then we will have 600 gallons stored. That will last about one week with as hot and dry as it has been lately. I think I need to start a bunch of mimosa strigillosa plugs.
La Nina conditions have returned.
Oh Joy. Just what a fledgling edible gardener doesn't need.
