Take One
After a read over of the Florida Vegetable Gardening Guide; off I went to Big Box Store to buy veggie garden starters. Pickin's were on the slim side. I came home with a variety of tomatoes, peppers, 1/2 doz strawberries, an "asparagus bean"; a few arugula, culantro and eggplant. Oh, and a bakers dozen Silver Queen Corn. A week or so later, I picked up a few cabbage, collard greens and broccoli.
After planting the seedlings; I in-vitro seeded carrot; radish; okra, swiss chard, green onions, chives and garlic chives.
Following shortly after, we had several days of nice rain. Perfect timing. Still hot and humid though.
